UpLift Opens Its Largest Location Yet on Cincinnati’s West Side
UpLift Dispensaries has opened its largest and most advanced store to date at 6175 Hamilton Cleves Road in Cleves, Ohio. The new facility sits in the Miamitown and Whitewater Township area, just off Interstate 275 and State Route 128.
The locally owned company held a soft opening on October 24, 2026. A grand opening is set for October 30. The roughly 5,000-square-foot location is the company’s third store after its existing sites in Mount Orab and Milford. It is open every day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

A Bigger, More Modern Store for the West Side
The Miamitown location was built to give customers more space and a smoother experience. The exterior uses a clean mix of stone and glass with the UpLift logo above the entrance. Inside, the layout is designed to keep lines short and give people room to look at products without feeling crowded.
UpLift has used online ordering at its other stores so customers can build a cart before they arrive. The new location continues that approach. Staff remain available to answer questions about products, effects, and how different options work. The larger footprint also supports a wider selection of flower, vapes, edibles, concentrates, topicals, and other products from Ohio growers and manufacturers.
Key features of the new store include:
- Spacious retail floor with clear product areas
- Online ordering for faster pickup
- Trained staff who help both medical patients and adult-use customers
- Daily hours from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Customers who previously drove across the metro area from the west side now have a closer option. The site is easy to reach from I-275 or State Route 128.

Local Ownership and Steady Growth
UpLift is a Cincinnati-owned and operated company. Its first two locations opened as medical dispensaries and later added adult-use sales after Ohio’s recreational program began on August 6, 2024. The Mount Orab store is at 101 Mercy Boulevard. The Milford store is at 401 Rivers Edge Drive.
Company leaders have described the Greater Cincinnati area as one of the stronger markets in the state. They are already moving forward with a fourth location near Kenwood Towne Centre and have explored additional sites. The Miamitown store is the largest so far and the first on the west side of Hamilton County.
Courtney Pavlak, Vice President of Retail Operations, spoke about the decision to expand in the company’s announcement.
“We’re excited to bring our business to Miamitown and continue growing alongside the communities that have supported us from the beginning. As a locally owned business, we believe our responsibility goes beyond providing exceptional products and service. It means investing in our community, volunteering our time, supporting our neighbors, and staying true to the values that make Cincinnati special.”
Pavlak has been involved with the company through the shift from medical-only sales to dual-use retail. She has also emphasized that local ownership allows the business to adjust quickly to what customers in the area actually want.
What Shoppers Will Notice
Adult-use customers must be 21 or older and bring a valid photo ID. Medical patients can continue to use their cards. Ohio currently allows recreational purchases of up to 2.5 ounces of flower or the equivalent in other forms. UpLift keeps separate processes so medical patients can move through more efficiently.
The larger floor plan is meant to reduce the crowding that sometimes occurred at the earlier locations on busy days. Staff are expected to spend time with newer customers who have questions about dosage, onset, or which products fit their goals. The company has offered veteran and other discounts at its existing stores and has not announced changes to those programs at the new location.
Menu details, specials, and online ordering information are available on the company’s Miamitown page. More background on the company is on the main UpLift site.
Ohio’s Growing Cannabis Market
Ohio’s combined medical and adult-use sales reached roughly $1.05 billion in 2026 through early October, according to figures based on data from the Ohio Division of Cannabis Control. Cumulative sales since the programs began stand at about $4.43 billion. The state has more than 200 dual-use dispensaries that serve both medical patients and recreational customers.
Average flower prices have come down since recreational sales started. Recent weekly averages have been around $6.55 per gram. That decline has made Ohio products more competitive with options in neighboring states. Local operators such as UpLift have argued that convenient locations, knowledgeable staff, and consistent product quality matter as much as the lowest price for many customers.
| Location | Address | Status |
| Mount Orab | 101 Mercy Boulevard | Open |
| Milford | 401 Rivers Edge Drive | Open |
| Miamitown | 6175 Hamilton Cleves Road | Soft open Oct. 24; grand open Oct. 30 |
UpLift has also been recognized as a Top Non-Medical Marijuana Dispensary of 2025 by Cannabis Business Insights. Company leaders have said the independent structure lets them focus on product selection and service standards that match the neighborhoods they serve.
Community Ties Alongside the Expansion
The company has positioned the Miamitown opening as more than a new retail location. In the announcement, Pavlak highlighted volunteer work, support for neighbors, and the goal of being a business the community can rely on. UpLift has previously taken part in local efforts that include park cleanups, holiday drives, and partnerships with groups focused on housing and other community needs.
The larger space gives the new store room for educational sessions or community events that the smaller locations handled on a more limited basis. How those programs develop will depend on demand once the store is fully operating.
For west-side residents, the immediate change is practical. They no longer need to drive across Greater Cincinnati to reach an UpLift store. The 5,000-square-foot building, daily 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. hours, and combination of online ordering with in-person guidance are the differences most customers will notice first.
